A buzz word that has stirred around the christian subculture for quite a while is increasingly getting incorporated into popular culture, look out for it. Now this isn’t the time for my low down on the use and abuse of buzz words (I think that I can save that for a late night ramble over cookies and milk).
I got back from a throw around on Sunday to a house full of gentle discussion about who my friends are collectively and our position in the city. It is good to hear us being described as a tribe within the people rather than a church. Occasionally some people in the city talk of us as a church plant or a church and that isn’t how it is. So when the others start describing our community of friends as one tribe that along side others make up the Church a smile comes to my face and little thoughts of ‘hey people are catching on’ come to my mind especially when people start stating the non-existance of boxes.
