My friends are currently playing with cheap small sparklers that we bargained from a pikey (the travelling carnival breed) inside the house. I’m expecting to find little burn holes in the sofa and doona tomorrow when the sun comes back around this side of the planet.
So I got to watch a free fireworks display from my back window and then later decided to go enjoy the big fire down at the local fields. However, this whole event has, for another year, wrecked our Ultimate pitch.
