No Fixed Abode

Jonah asked me a quite profound question today. The conversation went a bit like this: Who are you? I am Matt. Who is matt?. It continued and a little later I shared how a friend had referred to me as a Jesus weirdo (that will be you Mouse). I was not offended at the time, quite matter-of-factly I agreed with the description. However, I am continually challenged on how non-radical I am, on how normal I can be, that I often don’t take things as far or as deep as I want to. At this point I would like to point out that lent starts tomorrow. Being unreligious I was completely unaware that today was pancake-day aka shrove tuesday, until somepoint this afternoon. I would like to encourage my friend Rick who, as you will very quickly realise, is a Jesus weirdo. He is choosing to spend this 40days of reflection in complete silence. Meanwhile, I will be trying to dig deeper in to who God says I am and that continues with a night shift at the Moss Side 24-7prayer room.
