I managed to get a little burnt on the weekend during an ultimate frisbee training/try-out session in Sheffield. There was an unsettled forecast but actually the day was fine until we finished when the clouds started looking more threatening.
Thankfully it was sunny as after a costly trek across to Sheffield the turn out of players was actually quite poor, we only managed to play fives. I’ve been encouraged to complain about it on their forum, but that’s not really my style.
I’ve always been a fan of the month of May, it always seems to be the month that delivers on the weather front. Usually when students are revising for GCSEs, A-Levels, Finals, whatever. I was never one for revision, I used to just enjoy the weather. Maybe that’s why my grades were never as good as predicted/expected/needed. You expect decent weather in June and especially July/August but it seems that we are consistently disappointed in the UK. I guess that’s why I’m such a fan of May. Or maybe, with less expectation comes less disappointment?
well u can enjoy May while I hate it having As-level exams :(
Is that an emoticon?!
Wow, I hate those things!
*emoticon is a corruption of emotional-icon.
I guess it did it automatically cuz I just put in : ( and wot r so bad about them hehe
And what on earth is that text-speak?!
I would not worry about the “txt” speak it is the use of English that is the problem. Not that I want to pick on my youngest sibling.
this is little sis abuse!
