I think I could hear Mr Wenham shrieking in delight* at about 8pm tonight, cutting through the clips of birdsong coming out of BBC2. For it is that time of year again, when nature lovers, especially those keen on sausages ornithology, get to join Bill Oddie and team with their live nest/burrow/barn/pond cams.
Now come on, you have to admit that those moles are cute. It’s also pretty relaxing to watch, which is nice. There we go, Springwatch is nice TV.
*this is a lie.
mr wenham certainly would have been shrieking with delight but he is such a nature lover that he doesn’t have a TV. He was probably in his hide watching a lesser spotted black backed gull swoop and dive.
