Sweep Stakes

There are a few sweep stakes that I think might be worth encouraging:

  1. If so, when will Tim propose? (Nearest hour)
  2. If ever, when will I? (Nearest year*)
  3. Baby Flint and Baby ‘Apple’ Mac are both due early Nov, when and who pops first?
  4. How long long ’til the next baby blog? Who?
  5. How long ’til Sally starts blogging again?
  6. How long I stay in this call centre job? (I’m on day 67, or 49 working-days)

Obviously it could be a bit too much to do all of them.  Any more suggestions?  What do you prefer?  Any takers?

How do I go about putting my name down for the sweep stake on when I’ll propose? And how much do I stand to win at the minute?

    For you I think 2008

Apple first on November the 4th (Chloe’s birthday). And I think Flinty will arrive two days later on the 6th of November. I reckon the Mac’s will have a girl, while the Flints I think will have a boy.

Alas I’m not sure Sally will ever blog again so I will avoid throwing my money away on that one,

As for you, I think you can hold out another month. I think your last day will be friday the 1st of September.

You could use Phil and Laura as inspiration for several sweep stakes.
When will Phil shave his hair
    when will they go away
    how long for
who will they email first when they’re away

    1. 8, 245 hours
    2. 2007
    3. Baby flint before baby Apple
    4. Baby gibbs will be the next baby blog, sometime in september
    5. Sally may blog again in 25 years time
    6. your last day will be approximately 63 hours ago, due to your employers being very unfair and discourteous.

Penny do you realise that 8245 hrs equates to about 345 days?
That’ll take us up to July next year!!

I think you’re way out on that one!

    1. October half-term was my original guess, circa 1′900 hrs as I don’t know when half term is, but I think Tim harbours plans to defy that very popular prediction. Though by the hour I meant time and date, but I like the added dimension of working out a countdown of hours.

    3. Baby ‘Apple’ Mac on 6th Nov, a girl. Baby ‘Axe’ Flint on 8th, a boy. Baby Gibbly-Tamayao, a girl, and I can’t find Ben’s blog archives to work out when the little one is due.
    4. There could possible be a veto on Baby blogs as proud parents try to find new ways to show off and out do their other ‘besprogged’ friends. So possibly a baby podcast from Baby Flint.
    5. Rumour has it that Sally is already secretly blogging under an anonymous myspace account.
    6. Even though I personally hand wrote and handed in my notice I was still taken by surprise with my early and abrupt departure from the call centre.
