Four And Counting

I rocked up into a cold and damp warehouse, with life’s stuff on my back, four years to the day ago.  The warehouse was refitted as a prayer house and drop-in chill-out cafe.  I was committed to 3 months, then another, then another, then another, and then we closed the project down.

Three years on from the close and I’m still in Manchester.  Not exactly sure what I’m doing here, but I have my eyes open to see what comes of a seed we planted those three years ago.

Here’s to seeds, roots, sprouts and first leaves!

@Esta: Thanks, but you are running off to university soon anyway.

@Cate: You care so much that you said it twice, I’m touched.

you really don’t know phil evans? he likes belgrade. he’s been there like 13 times.

5 degrees is too cold for tomatoes to ripen, so now I have two containers full in my apartment. tis sad as we will have to stop working on the allotment soon. what’s up with winter anyway? hmm. maybe without it i’d hardly reflect.
