Al Fresco Internet

I’m sat watching my neighbour paint her kitchen while I use the internet on the ‘balcony’.   It’s not as warm as it was earlier and my toes are starting to go a little numb.  Oh well, maybe it’s a good thing that spring isn’t quite here already; otherwise I would get worried that life really is flying by too fast.

I’m considering making bird boxes to sell, put your orders in now.  However, I’m thinking that maybe the birds can just do what they were made to do and build nests in trees.  But maybe there aren’t the trees for them to inhabit, in which case: should we make boxes or plant trees?

On first reading your post I thought your neighbour was painting her kitchen with the internet!

plant trees…. or the box hedge. (small green bushy thing, usuallyt shaped into random things by people with big houses and too much time). I’ll buy one of your boxes.

@bro: I just read my post through and had I not been there I would have thought she had found a revolutionary new use for the internet too. There are a number of missing words nevermind punctuation.

@mrhughes: I think you could whittle a replica of The David out of a hedge.

@cate: you want a hello kitty bird box?

@resa: making bird feeders as well as bird boxes is a good idea.

yes, under the deck at the summer house. but you’d have to visit before we’d let you use it.

a bit more seriously, if you have a saw and some patience, you can use wood from discarded wooden pallets (found outside lots of big places)

we made big compost bins out of them. free wood is good.
