People in my Life

My more frequent readers and the more observant would have noticed the increased use of the random picture feature. Changing it is about as technical as I can get with html at the moment.

For todays readers you will see the beautiful Oria Dale Kreoker. My housemate, ‘colleague’ and nemesis is currently swanning around Chile under the pretense of serving 24-7Chile… one of the South American branches of 24-7Prayer International. Let me share a few random facts about Oria:

i) her brother giggles like a baby girl,
ii) she’s rubbish at playing ‘Punch Buggy’,
iii) suffers from a phobia of slugs,
iv) tried to steal my boxer shorts,
v) and has an obsession with feet

Bono the Wild Goose

After his mother died unexpectedly, Bono, David Evans (who is now known as U2’s guitarist The Edge) and Larry Mullen Jr. (U2’s drummer) were all involved in Shalom, a loose evangelical group that met for song, worship, and Bible study. But when Shalom evolved into something more structured, more akin to the institutional religion he finds uncomfortable, Bono, and the others, left.

“I just go where the life is, you know? Where I feel the Holy Spirit,” - Bono.

Amen
