Recently I was promoted to the position of Head Bartender at Bluu Manchester, which is nice. So that means I get an extra 50p an hour for the job that I was already doing on the whole. I’ll find out later this week what other responsibilities I’ll be expected to do take on. Should make the job more interesting and more challenging, which is nice.
Still hoping that I can get out of debt but this job isn’t making much of a dent in it, which is not so nice.
I recommend saving Pringles lids from parties, house groups, binge eating or whatever else you may get up to now that Friends has finished - sigh (like I noticed, what with my lack of TV and all). Now these fly really well indoors; I recommend learning the finger-flick and the self-MAC (Mid Air Correction). Suggestions for extended hours of fun include setting up miniture disc-golf courses up around your house, using the empty crisp tubes to form posts for goal-like targets, or you could play a full-on game of 4-a-side Ultimate if your livingroom/bedroom is big enough.
I am, as of today, currently accepting entries for ‘Best Pring-Ultimate Disc Artwork’ (make a pringle lid look good but it still needs to be able to fly).
She has met my parents and I have met hers. It seems like those were profound and well taken steps. Things with the two of us are going brilliantly and I am quietly containing how excited I am about it all. Our jobs don’t always have the most complimentary shift rotas but we are getting our time together. One important aspect is to share the relationship with those around us rather than becoming exclusive. Hence our first date, those many weeks ago now, involved me playing tennis in the street with Dean. Other highlights involve ice cream when it’s dark, frisbee in the park and Prin-ultimate.
