Woohoo! I have finally moved abode. I’m now residing at the other end of Rusholme. I need to settle in; unpack my stuff, get some food in and maybe paint over the horrible pink (sorry, it’s not pink- it’s lilac). Should be cool getting to know the new guys that I will be living in and having a new space to play in. Visitors welcome.

Unfortunately, I look like a student. I’m having issues with this. The city has been invaded by a fresh influx of the ’sponging dirty scrubbers’, as some people would call them. The bus now takes 3 times longer to get into town; all the shops, cafes and bars are overcrowded; life seems more expensive when every other person in the queue gets 20% off with a valid NUS card. Then I get treated like a student because, as a twenty-something outside of a suit, I can’t help but look like one. I think I need a couch and some counseling, before I get violent. Maybe if they didn’t seem like a swarm of locusts, living like parasites in the city and somehow adopted and loved Manchester while they were here we could all get on a lot better?
The more observant of readers may have noticed a few changes I have made to the weblog; thanks to a number of free services being developed for online publishing.
If you like a post you can email it to friend, click the envelope image in the post’s footer.
SmartFeed converts Atom feeds to RSS on-the-fly for readers that do not support Atom.
Hopefully some of you will find these options useful alongside the commenting and trackback options. Those of you somewhat unfamiliar with weblog and other online publishing I encourage you to explore the other links throughout the sidebar.
