Is currently quite rubbish. The students are still somewhat involved with indoors eventhough they should have shifted their concentration to the outdoor season already. However there only seems to be a handful who take it seriously enough to improve.
‘Motion’ struggle to scrape together enough people to warrant getting your boots dirty and thats when it isn’t raining! The team is a weaker than this time last year and I wonder if the individuals have the commitment to strengthen.
‘Chevron’ have their squad practices midweek and I completely appreciate the exclusiveness and if invited you get a good practice. Though as they are only partially based in Manchester you do sometimes struggle for good numbers.
What is needed is what you’ll find in all good frisbee cities: a Sunday open session. The afternoon gives plenty of sleeping-in and travelling time. These can run throughout the year with obvious breaks for Tour weekends.
The idea is not to form a geo-team but to offer opportunity for extra play with decent numbers of varying experience, no strings attached; practice makes perfect.

And it is february already but at least it has started with a sunny day fully adorned with a bright blue sky. I much prefer this to the grey cloudy days that we are used to.
Dismissed from court early today; the trial was thrown out because of a lack of evidence. Which begs the question: how on earth did it get into the crown court to start with?
Has given me the chance to catch up on my friends’ blogs but now the sunshine is calling me away.
