I would like to wish all my family, friends and readers a happy Easter and I hope that you all find interesting and enjoyable ways to remember the crucifixion and celebrate the resurrection.
Tonight some of us are heading in to the city centre to join in with the Manchester Passion, a public and operatic rendition of The Passion using famous Mancunian music. On Sunday I hope to join some friends on a hill to share communion; on that note, anyone got space in their car?
So I’m back in the Moss. Moved into Emma’s room while she is away for April and will be sharing a house with Claire. It was strange walkng through Rusholme and Moss Side last night, you can feel it. It’s not the same as Didsbury, it’s not the Northern Quarter, it has it’s own feeling. And unfortunately I find it intimidating at first. But as I keep on finding out, there’s much more good stuff under all of that. And I’m glad to be out of the suburbs, I was probably guilty of falling asleep out there. That’s the problem when you get comfortable, you doze off to everything around you.
Thought I would share the results of a recent check-up on my weblog.
