Embedding Movies

Seems everyone is doing this these days. So you don’t feel left out:

  1. Upload your movie file, commonly a ‘.mov’, to your server.
  2. place the appropriate code in your post or html file:
    <embed src="http:
    //www.example.com/sample.mov" autoplay="true" ></embed>
  3. Save and publish your site.

However, this views correctly for those people who can use Quicktime. You could also use w3schools approach to embedding* quicktime files.

Day 2: Football Fever

So it seems that everyone is getting sick, and I’m not just talking about being tired of all the football themed adverts. So we have awesome weather and people come down with the common cold, what’s all that about! Well, we have had some freaky weather. On the whole forecasters have been enjoying their opportunity to say “And in the north… SCORCHIO!”. However, in Rusholme we had a bizarre and brief spell of snow late this evening! I’ll get photos up soon!

On the World Cup side of things:

  1. England had an unconvincing victory over Paraguay. No thanks to Sven and the referee for their ridiculous decisions!
  2. Trinidad and Tobago earned themselves a great point against Sweden to make England’s day a little sweeter.
  3. I’m glad we aren’t in the same group as this years debutants, the Ivory Coast; who deserved a draw instead of the high energy defeat to Argentina.
