I currently have an uber boring temp job stuffing envelopes. So I have the computer on my desk pointing to weird and wonderful little internet sites. I have been enjoying having the work of Stamen Design decorating the monitor. I enjoy experimental and creative display of data.

Becoming famous after an appearance in the TV documentary ‘The Boy with the Incredible Brain‘ last year and for his European record for remembering, recounting, reciting pi to it’s 22′524th digit, Daniel Tammet is back in the lime-light. This time it is mostly publicity for his new book, ‘Born On A Blue Day‘.
Does anyone have this book, which I could borrow?
From a quick surf, Daniel changed his second name to derive from the Estonian word Tamm meaning oak, he is gay, Christian, and enjoys the thoughts of G. K. Chesterton. It is for his amazing gifts that come with being an autistic savant that set him apart for so much attention. And in particular, his ability to explain how he does what he does. Fascinating.
They use IE6 at work and it is shocking. Apologies, but I’m not in a rush to tidy this site to suit it. IE6 users should go get a better browser really.
