Finally managed to have a go on my sister-in-law’s Wii today, awesome! It really is a good laugh, the games are very playable but my arm kind of aches. For those out of the loop, it is a console where you physical move your controller through space to control the games, i.e. you have to swing a backhand to return the serve in tennis. So it currently can’t do as much as the PS3 pland to do, but do you really want your playstation to do everything and is it really worth more than twice as much. Thanks guys.

‘Tis the season to set a challenge: to buy me a bottle of Aventinus Eisbock.
Aventinus is produced by G. Schneider and Sohn, a bavarian beer house, the same people who make Schneider Weisse which you’ll see next to Aventinus in decent joints such as Fringe Bar, The Temple (formerly of Convenience) and Big Hands. The regular Aventinus is a wheat beer doppelbock, whereas my challenge is to get hold of the eisbock.
Aventinus is named after Johannes Aventinus (his real name was Johann Georg Turmair, and “Aventinus” is a latinization of his birthplace, Adensberg). You can find a bust of Johannes in the Walhalla Temple, Bavaria where you’ll find Albert Einstein, Martin Luther, Nikolaus Ludwig von Zinzendorf, and Ludwig von Beethoven among others commemorated.
