So over the last week I’ve decided to start playing frisbee again. I’ve made 4 trainings in the last week, and my body is definately screaming “what are you doing?” It had got used to the lack of exercise and gets all indignant when I decide to throw it in the air (i.e. at the ground) in some vain attempt to catch some speeding plastic.
Thanks to the recent good weather I’m now the proud owner of a farmer’s/frisbee tan, which is alright as if I forget my light top I have a default white tee-shirt waiting underneath everything I wear.
Yesterday I managed to get out and “play disc” for a few hours in the sun and it was pleasant relief from the dire weather that we have had to drape our sorry arses through during last couple of months. I felt the sunshine was just reward for getting myself off the couch and outside. My back is currently reminding me how long it has been since I last went out to play but thankfully we’ve still got some spanish ibuprofen left - it’s a bit more potent than our stuff.
Anyway, the clouds have broken so I’m off outside again.
