Sickness seems to lurk around the last day of term, the final deadline, the bell that rings at factory close. It sneaks into the works’ Christmas party, the train carriage home. And it waits. And that patience finally breaks, when you put your feet up, with a big hearty SNEEZE!

It is reaching that time of year when it seems appropriate to really try out the lightbox that my colleague is lending me. Supposedly it will counter any seasonally affective tendancies that I may have by bathing me in “very intense artificial illumination”. If I manage to muster up the discipline of using it daily I’ll let you know how I get on.
